September is right around the corner, which means the USI Men's Rugby Club's fall season is upon us.
USI fans, as well as fans across Evansville and the Tri-State area, will be able to support the Screaming Eagles at home as they take on DePauw University (Sept. 14) and Indiana State University [ISU] (Sept. 28).
All games hosted by the USI Men's Rugby Club are open to USI students and staff and to the public free of charge. Kickoff times are always at 12 noon CST.
USI will also be participating at the Oak Leaf Cup held at Vanderbilt University on Sept. 21. It will be the first time that USI has participated in the Oak Leaf Cup.
The Indiana Small College Championship will be held on Oct. 26. Two semi-finals matches will be hosted at the event, and the victors from each semi-final match will play in the state championship. The team that wins the state championship title will proceed on to the Midwest Regional tournament.
USI won the Indiana Small College Championship last year and went on to play at the Midwest Regional tournament held at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
USI lost to University of Wisconsin-Parkside in the Midwest Regional tournament.
Come out and support the USI ruggers this fall as the Screaming Eagles attempt to make it back to the Midwest Regionals and play at Nationals.
